About STPVD

India Semiconductor Mission is an attempt by GOI to enter into global semiconductor market. The establishment of semiconductor design, display fabrication units is just the step towards a new era of growth in the semiconductor domain.

To cater the design aspects of VLSI, and to contribute in the mission to make industry ready engineers, the department of Electronics & Communication Engineering is organizing the 11th edition of One Month “Summer Training program on VLSI Design-2026” from 19th June to 18th July 2026. This training program will cover analog and digital integrated circuit design aspect using commercial technology kits and simulation tools along with exposure to fabrication methods and PCB design. The course will stress on hands on experience on microelectronics & VLSI design related state of art tools like, Xilinx, Synopsis/Cadence, EdwinXP, FPGA etc and would cover theoretical sessions from industry and academia. The course will cover from specification drawing to physical design and verification of VLSI systems.

Industry professionals from INTEL, Qualcomm, Nvidia, ST Microelectronics, NXP etc will share the experience along with lectures and hands on session.
